The vision of the River Valley STEAM Academy is to provide a holistic education that is focused, caring, and stimulates real-world work environments. Furthermore, it is a place where all students will be recognized as individuals as well as highly encouraged to achieve their fullest potential while preparing to become productive and responsible citizens.
The mission of the River Valley STEAM Academy is to prepare students to succeed in high-demand occupations within the competitive, 21st-century global economy. STEAM Academy students participate in Programs of Study, mastering rigorous academic and relevant technical concepts that will guide them to successful career outcomes. This is accomplished by providing top-quality instruction, as well as promoting partnerships with business, industry, and the community within the students’ chosen career pathway. These collective attributes will ultimately prepare students for their post-secondary journeys into the workforce.
