Misty Mountain Farm in Petersburg, WV
Misty Mountain Farm is a diversified farming operation. They have a large farm consisting of cows, breeder layer hens, sheep, and crops. They have survived as a farm for three generations by being diversified. Their farm is constantly evolving to satisfy the needs that we see are feasible to pursue. They felt that a multifaceted event barn was a resource that was greatly needed in our area – Find your “Almost Heaven” at Misty Mountain Event Barn; a breathtaking mountain landscape featuring a gorgeous red barn surrounded by farmland, is sure to spark the planning for your special event.
The Main Event Barn is the heart of our venue. It is a 6,000 square ft. heated and/or air conditioned building featuring a grand staircase leading to the bridal and groom suites on the second floor. On the main floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, restrooms, and a DJ booth. The DJ booth features an indoor and outdoor SONOS sound system, a projector, and two big screen smart TV’s – Our outdoor ceremony site is located adjacent to the main event barn, overlooking the beautiful South Branch Valley. The rustic archway was built from 150 year old fencing, giving even more character to the already stunning view. The outdoor ceremony site is equipped with white padded wedding chairs for all guests, which will be set-up and taken down by the Misty Mountain Event Barn Staff, Additional seating is available on the upper level right off of the porch or under the covered porch, if needed. The outdoor ceremony site is handicap accessible with a ramp. It is equipped with WIFI.
