The WV Chocolate, Wine & Shine Festival is a tasting and sampling—not a drinking—event. With the large number of wines and shines available no attendee will be allowed, nor should expect, to overindulge so as to create a situation that would need to be dealt with by onsite support over the course of the event. Be aware that cash will be required for ticket, food, and other purchases during the event. Please come prepared. Multiple ATMs are available in the lobby area of the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center but should not be considered a reliable source of funds. Attendees are strongly encouraged to get a ride to and from the venue and leave your vehicle at home. We strongly discourage drinking and driving. Play it smart, designate a driver who does not drink, or get a ride for your safety and the safety of others. Lyft, Uber, Hotel Shuttles, Motown Taxi, or having a designated driver with you is strongly encouraged. Designated drivers may volunteer and save the cost of admission.
